"May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds."

"It represents openness and limitless possibilities.
I can look to the sky at night and see space and just envision everything I want."

Look down and look around, there is so much to see, too much to see at times. People moving, cars swerving, dogs running, leaves rustling, advertisements flashing- society is filled with movement distractions, things that can detour someone from accomplishing or even recalling their most paramount goals.

One must not forget to remember who they are and what they wish to become.

For me I collect myself, I find myself, and I remind myself in nature’s presence. When I look up everything becomes clear and it is quite refreshing. What is nice about the sky is its vast space- no matter where one might be, anywhere in the world, or time of day, all it takes is a glance up to get away from the distractions. It is automatically peaceful to look up and reflect and regain one’s sense of direction. Looking up at the sky into the space that lies beyond is similar to diving into a pool of water. Instantly everything becomes silent; regardless of what is going on above the water, people screaming, music playing, children splashing, everything below the surface is peaceful.

Always remember no matter where you are you can always get away.

  1. The topic which you hit on in this blog post came is one that I wish I would have thought of. The contemplative thoughts you have towards finding the “inner you” are very grounded and make the reader think about not stressing out so much or not becoming consumed with the distractions in their lives. This topic blends well with the nature theme the blog provides and the picture you incorporated makes the viewer reflect on the act of peaceful contemplation. The style in which you wrote also lends itself to reflection because of the general ideas you provided, rather than specific examples. In addition, this style allows you to remain anonymous because there are not any distinguishing characteristics in the text. Overall I felt it was an interesting topic that blends well with the aesthetics of the blog page. With that being said I would suggest using a different font type when writing because the one you have used for this post gives off a middle school essay vibe, but the text itself does not reflect this. If it was the intent to be soothing to go along with the nature theme try experimenting with other fonts. Although I like the purple background, I am not sure having just the top of the blog background with a photo works well. If there were away to checker the picture with the color that might be an option, but as it stands it feels like there is too much empty purple space. I do not recall if you had the other blog post titled, regardless I would suggest doing so for this post just because it can give a blog viewer a sense of what they are going to read before they read it, also it creates a hyperlink so you can view the post separately which is nice.
